Shame on 'The Hindu'

So this is the link to the opinion page of 'The hindu' a national news paper well known for its hatred to LTTE. Though I am not a sympathiser of LTTE (not yet, but slowly getting there), I find it odd that all readers have uniform view on Srilankan issue. Or is the editor of TH releasing only questions/viewpoints favourable to his/her stand point? If so then why run a news paper, better start a political party or a blog site with no comments area. If this is the progressive media's inclusivity on opinions, then no wonder there is a lack of space in Indian politics on alternative topics and view points.

And by the way, this headlines article is a faithful reproduction of a confession statement by some erstwhile LTTE members broad cast in Srilankan state media and a controlled media release by Srilankan army. So since when has TH started faithfully reproducing government news releases as 'official news'? Where is the 'reporting' aspect of TH. Sure I remember reading tonnes of articles and reports in TH on Iraq, Kashmir, Gaza on what is the 'official' news release by governments and the 'actual' findings of reporters, experts comments and how they are contradicting and what is the sum reality in those conflict zones. So if we go by what TH says, then Srilanka is waging a war with the spirits of Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru as guiding lights and they have not killed one civilian in the clash. Also media does not have access to 'conflict zone' because it is not palestinians or some fashionable minorities that are getting wiped out and suffering there. So if Hamas were 'freedom fighters' LTTE are armies of satan for The Hindu and its editors. The bias of 'The hindu' shows clearly and it stinks. I am ashamed to have read this paper for a best part of my life and I am quitting reading 'THE HINDU' and plead anyone still addicted to this shitty paper as a part of your daily morning coffee session to do the same.
