Reservation and Rajasthan

I was previously a supporter of reservations - caste based.
Well, now I am beginning to rethink after observing the non stop violence
in Rajasthan, which has now become a three cornered clash between the
Gujjars, Meenas and the state administration. This is what people like
Cho.Ramaswamy of Thuglak and Malarmannan who writes in Thinnai
on this topic have been regularly saying along. The nightmare scenario
that Gandhi awrd winners like Arjun Singh are hoping for is for such events to
happen all across the country. The situation is an eye opener for those who are
genuinely asleep. As far as the vote catching politicians are concerned, they are
delighted and pretending as if they are genuinely suprised by the turn of events.
So whats up next? Let me give you a hint. If the Thakurs and other upper castes
in UP learn that their equivalent erstwhile "ruling" classes in Thamizh Nadu like
the "Thevars" and "Vanniyars" are enjoying OBC, MBC status, they too are
gonna ask to be inducted in the more benefitting lower caste category, offcourse
with all the fury and more as demonstrated in Rajasthan! welcome to 2020 vision
of India!! i wouldn't be suprised to see these violent upheavals are justified by
Caste leaders and politicians as "revolution" against oppression!!
